One of the most important factors of the rendering process is a willingness to listen to, and work with, clients. Michael Mackin is the owner of a general contractor and real estate development company. When a town put out a request for proposals to redevelop an old property, Mackin wanted to respond. "The property used to be a Middle School", Mackin said. "The town wants to retain a part, but they are open about the rest. I thought it would make sense to convert the classroom space to residential."
Seeking approval from the town board, Mackin knew a 3D rendering would give him the edge to explain his vision. "A lot of the times people just can't see what it will look like. It's easy for architects and developers, but for others a rendering makes the presentation much nicer. They appreciate the time and energy, too." Mackin was greatly pleased with VizSource. "VizSource met all my expectations, and more. Everyone has been great, giving the project the time and energy. They take time to listen, and I can give my perspective in turn." This mutual respect allows the rendering to come out so well.
The board approved Mackin's proposal. "We're still trying to refine the details, but my plan was chosen." Mackin is proud of the job VizSource did. "There were no problems at all. It's a very good process, and everyone is helpful. It was excellent."
